Social Netball

Social netball is an Netball initiative program for female players age 17 and above who like to keep themselves fit and improve their Netball skills. With netball being a team game, there is always a social element to the sessions.

We start every session with warm-up games, stretching and exercises to prevent as much as possible injuries during the session.

After the warm-up we will play continuous games with rest periods in between.

After the games we will finish will cool down stretching.

Depending on the number of players and the fatigue level of the players the duration of a session is between 1.5 hour and 2 hours.

Players will be invited  to participate in carnivals, leagues and friendly games during the year.

The program follows the school calendar and the year is divided into 4 terms. Registration is for one term, followed by quarterly renewals. Players can join anytime unless the registration is closed.

Cost

The program fee is $200 for 10 sessions of 1.5-2 hours in 1 term.

Program fees can be prorated when you let us know before the start of a term which sessions the player is not able to join. Once joined the first session, full or agreed fees apply. The minimum number of sessions for a term is 7.

There is also an option to Pay-per-session at $35 per session with a minimum package of 10 sessions.

We do not charge an administration fee.

What to wear

We do not have specific requirements for Social Netball, players can wear anything that is comfortable to play Netball. Regarding the shoes, to prevent accidents, players need good (indoor) Netball shoes/running shoes. Players are advised to bring a towel and a water bottle.

Trial classes

We do provide trial classes, players can join for one session and after the trial session decide if they want to continue. Please register first for a trial session for us to know who is coming for trial. The cost for a trial session is $25
